Deep Red

I love the color, however if you are blond or have a lot of grey hair I wouldn't recommend it because the roots show as soon as a week later when it grows, and the contrast is very noticeable. I'm letting grow and using a temporary hair day to blend my roots; I treat my hair with vinegar the night before, any natural bleaching agent works, the next day I wash it thoroughly and apply the temporary red when it's dry and rinse after an hour. Once is safe I will definitely switch to a lighter henna color, but it looks like I'll need to let the roots grow a few inches before I can do it. My hair feels healthier and thicker, so I won't go back to chemical dyes.

Deep Red for Me

I love the results, but waiting 10 hours for it to cure and then 3 hours on my hair….was something I wasn’t used to, when coloring my hair. I have since used what I froze, with the leftover batch I made. Love it!!! Please let me know when it’s back in stock, as I see it’s sold out! I’m very happy with the results I got. Thanks!

Covers gray beautifully

Note, I intentionally left a streak of gray - like Cruella, . I love the DEEP RED and because I am a dark brunette with 40% gray, the henna becomes more of a highlighter for the bark brown and bright red streaks in the gray hairs. It really shines in the sunlight. Tip: I sleep with the henna mask on overnight to get a deep red. Tip #2: I out about 5 drops of Lavender essential oil in the mix to help reduce the henna smell. And it works!

Worked great even on dark brown hair!

I’ve tried other Henna dye brands before and they failed to work on my dark brown hair but this one came out fantastic! The Deep Red ended up more of a Wine red due to my dark hair already but still and incredibly vibrant red! Highly recommend for this looking for a natural dye. Plus is smells fantastic. Also I’d definitely keep it in longer than 3 hours, that’s how the dye came out as vibrant as mine did.

Nice Red

I really like this henna. It was very easy to apply and not as messy as other henna's I've used. The color takes well to the hair and last for weeks. You definitely need to wear gloves because it stains the hands for weeks even after washing. I will definitely be buying this again!

Love !!!

It was super easy to apply and looks great! I was worried about not having enough because my hair is pretty long and curly but it was perfect. The application took only like 10 minutes- I think the longest thing was just trying to get it all out because you have to really work the water through your hair. This is my first time ever putting any dye on my hair because I’ve always been scared of hurting my curls so it’ll take some getting used to seeing my hair a different color lol

I've been converted

Overall a great experience! I was purchasing from Henna Sooq and wasn't sure how to use their powders to accomplish this shade of red. I heard from some friends this brand was the way to go, so I tried and YES! This red covered up my previously bleached tips and deepened to my desired shade! So so happy and will be purchasing more of the Deep Red! I followed the instructions with the addition of fresh juice from beets. Let the mixture brew for 10 hours (as I slept), then applied to my dreadlocks, covered with the shower cap, foil and a towel, then let it rest for 6 hours. I rinsed with only water, cold as I could stand it. Took a good while, but I got it all rinsed! If I rinsed or washed in hot water, the red started bleeding, but if I kept it to cold water everything was dandy. After a 3 or 4 days, I washed my hair. I have done a couple of conditioning masks since to help boost moisture, and it's going great!

Very happy with the results

I've dyed my hair with henna since shaving my head and I've had countless compliments ! My hair has grown so fast in a year time, and so strong, I can really tell because I've not cut them since shaving my hair and I remember how they use to look before henna. My natural colour is ash dark blonde (hairdressers say so) + a growing amount of silver/grey hair ! It covers my grey and the rest of my hair really well and I like the earthy smell. Also I wanted to add that I live and work on boats at sea, so it means I'm around salty water and in the sun a lot, I know that this lifestyle can be very damaging for hair but they seem to be very healthy and henna is the only things I've changed in my routine in the last few years. I also don't use much else to be honest, my scalp feels clear (I used to have psoriasis) and hair feels conditioned enough. if I want some extra care I do masks of sidr ot tulsi! Every time I'm doing my henna "ritual" I feel connected to myself on another level and I really wish that you feel that way too on top of looking amazing, wishing you all the best. PS: I've loved this colour though I'm going to try to switch to a lighter colour of henna guys : orange red, and will let you now how it goes !

Takes a long time

My only complaint is it takes a very long time, but I'm not. It's a beautiful color and it turns out really nice

The BEST Henna!

The Deep Red Henna Guys henna is THE BEST. The colour is fantastic, deep and glossy with an "aubergine" shade rather than "ginger", which suits my colouring better. I always mix it with heated pickled beetroot vinegar as well as hot coffee, which helps set the colour as well as providing excellent grey coverage. Perfect <3. Thanks Henna Guys!

WOW! We will never use another hair color product!!!

This worked fabulously on my wife's dark brown hair, even covered her gray streaks (we did add vinegar as suggested). The color is stunning, her hair is soft, shiny and just gorgeous. We could not be happier.

Fresh and pure

I have used henna for years and the trick is finding a good supply. This is the real deal, it’s fresh not old so it’s potent and easy to activate. Worked beautifully!
